Discover Beijing at your own pace on a private 2-day tour of China’s capital, which includes selected meals, transport, and entrance fees. Tick off top attractions such as Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang), the Forbidden City (Imperial Palace), and the Temple of Heaven (Tian tan) on Day One. On Day Two, visit the Great Wall at Mutianyu — one of the New Seven Wonders of the World — and the Summer Palace (Yiheyuan). Hotel pickup and drop-off are included every day. 

Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Tiananmen Square -  Forbidden City - Temple of Heaven (L)
In the morning, you will be picked up in your hotel lobby. Heading to Tiananmen Square where you can see The Great Hall of People (National Congress Hall), otherwise known as the “White House” in China. The National Museum is on the east side. In the center of the square, you can see Chairman Mao’s Mausoleum.
Walk to the Forbidden City and spend a couple hours to see the highlights inside of this huge imperial palace. Continue to the Jingshan Hill where you can overlook the entire the Forbidden City. You can also see the whole Beijing city center from here weather-permitting.
During lunch, you will have a tasty meal at a dumpling restaurant.
In the afternoon, visit the Temple of Heaven, where past emperors worshipped the God of Heaven. It's interesting to see many Chinese elders dance, sing songs or play Taiji in the square.
After the tour has finished, you will be transferred back to your hotel. 

Day 2: Mutianyu Great Wall - Summer Palace (L)
Today, you will visit Mutianyu Great Wall in the morning which is one of the Seven Wonders in the World. Mutianyu is about 80 kilometres away from the city center. It takes about 1.5 hours to drive there. You could take the cable car half way and then start to hike and enjoy the beauty of Great Wall and it's surroundings.
After hiking, lunch will be arranged at an authentic Chinese food restaurant near by.
In the afternoon, you will visit the Imperial Garden -The Summer Palace. There are many beautiful pavilions, bridges, corridors and temples. You can visit the famous Kunming Lake here too. On the way, you will pass by the Olympic Park. The Bird's Nest and Water Cube are stadiums of Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.
After the tour has finished, you will be transferred back to your hotel. 

Day 3: Beijing Ancient City Wall- Lama Temple - Hutong Tour by Rickshaw-Nanluoguxiang Alley (L)
Meet your guide at your hotel lobby in the morning, then start the day by visiting the famous Beijing Ancient City Wall Ruins with over 600 years history and ascend the majestic Dongbianmen Tower. Then proceed to the Lama Temple, which is the imperial lamasery built in the Qing Dynasty, you will see the world’s largest wooden sculpture of Buddha - a 26-meter high sculpture of Sakyamuni.
Afterwards, enjoy lunch in a local restaurant and proceed to have a leisurely afternoon sightseeing. Take a rickshaw through the 300-year old hutongs, stopping at several places on the way for your guide’s explanation and a photo opportunity, stroll around the Nanluoguxiang Alley, and discover the real Beijing culture and local lifestyle. After that, have a safe transfer back to your hotel to conclude the day trip.
