Tour Itinerary
Meet your private English-speaking guide and driver at your hotel lobby at 8:30am, before proceeds to the Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses. On the way to the museum, make a  short stop at the Terra-cotta Figures Factory, which makes replicas of the terra-cotta soldiers.

Upon arrival at the Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses, start exploring one of the most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century, discovered by local farmers in 1974. You’ll see life-sized terra-cotta figures arranged in battle formations, shaped in the image of Qin Shi Huang’s imperial army in 210-209 BC. The army was built to protect the emperor in the afterlife, and miles of land still remain unexcavated.

The pits have different figures that range from military personnel to musicians, acrobats, and strongmen. In the main and most impressive vault of the museum, you will see figures arranged in typical battle formation, including 11 columns of officers, soldiers holding spears and swords, and charioteers, standing as if ready for one last battle. Continue to a series of museum exhibits displaying artifacts and a film on the fascinating history of the mausoleum.

Following your time at the museum, enjoy a traditional Chinese lunch, then begin the return trip to Xi’an, passing by the Qin Shi Huang Mausoleum along the way. This 8-hour tour concludes with drop-off at your hotel.
