Which one is the more important between the location and star of the hotel?

As a famous tourist city, Beijing has thousands of hotels which cover from super deluxe 5 star hotel to small hostel, and to welcome the 2008 Olympic Game, there are still many star hotel under construction. But our problem is what' s your most appropriate hotel facing these so many hotels?

If you are very rich and don't care about how much of it, that will be easy to solve this problem, you can choose the best hotel at the best location ( Wangfujing commercial area, over 200-300 USD/room.night as usual), but to most of budget travelers who's planning trip at Beijing, which one is more important between the location and hotel star? My opinion is: more convenient location is much more concerned than hotel's star.

The reasons for two:
First: Today's traffic jam at Beijing already become a serious problem, much more worse than another city of China,if you choose the wrong location of your hotel, it will cause to affect your normal sightseeing time at each sites, meanwhile, you will also cost too much taxi fee on the way for each sites.

Second: there are more and more new hotel with high equipment being completed which located at the best location, but they don't have famous brand like " Sheraton, holiday inn, etc"to branch out the business, they would like rather to provide more reasonable price to travelers, that will be your good choice.

Most of westerners like to choose the 4 star hotel as their accommodation in Beijing, I do not recommended you to concern their brand too much, for example, there is hotel named the holiday inn downtown, actually, its location are not in the center of Beijing which's inconvenient for sightseeing at Beijing , so if you discovered the hotel at Beijing both with the famous brand and cheap price on the high season, you must think about its location carefully, recommend you not choose it.
