The best location at Beijing is around the Wangfujing commercial street, it's center of Beijing in which very convenient to go each famous historical sites, walk to Tian'anmen Square with 10 minutes, walk to Forbidden City with 10 minutes, to Temple of Heaven by taxi with 10 minutes, to Summer Palace by taxi with 20 minutes, in generally, it's convenient to go anywhere tourist attraction.
But to budget travelers, you should choose the hotel around this location, because the hotels of inside of it are very expensive, and the hotels around it will be much cheaper than it.
